The Pacific Forest Trust (PFT) has long been committed to developing and supporting forest offset accounting protocols that accurately measure the carbon and climate impacts of improved forest management projects. While we believe that the protocols developed by the Climate Action Reserve and those adopted by California’s Air Resource Board are the best available, we are committed to continuing to monitor scientific developments to ensure that forest offset protocols remain credible and accurate.
