Navigating the American Carbon World Conference
April 19 – 21, 2017
San Francisco, CA
2017 marks the 15th consecutive year Navigating the American Carbon World (NACW) will bring together the most active and influential players in North American climate policy and carbon markets to address the most pressing topics in domestic policy, international policy, markets, and carbon management initiatives. At NACW, professionals from the business, government, nonprofit and academic sectors gather to network, learn, and collaborate. In 2017, the climate and carbon community will also be gathering to strengthen their commitment and resolve to push forward with pioneering climate change initiatives in a changing political environment.
In addition to addressing changes happening in U.S. federal policy, NACW 2017 will also take a close look at strong subnational and international action. The conference program will also examine carbon markets, climate finance, North American leadership and complementary measures, as well as other hot topics. Helping to lead the discussions is a strong lineup of speakers, including California Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León, California State Controller Betty Yee, California EPA Secretary Matt Rodriquez, Ontario Minister of the Environment and Climate Change Glen Murray and NextGen Climate Founder and President Tom Steyer.
NACW is the continent’s largest and longest running conference for climate policy and carbon markets and the must-attend event for these sectors. It will take place April 19-21 in San Francisco and is hosted by the Climate Action Reserve, a pioneer in carbon accounting and the most experienced, trusted and efficient offset project registry to serve the carbon market.
