Climate change is not a situation that is coming in 20 or 30 or 40 years. It is already here. We have reached levels of carbon dioxide that are far higher than what all the models have predicted.

We have time in the next 10 years to turn the situation around, and forests will be an absolutely critical part of the solution.

If we mobilize the resources and commit to stopping emissions from forest loss and degradation, we will increase sequestration and reabsorb billions of tons of CO₂ from the atmosphere.

Forests are essential to reaching carbon neutral by 2045 and setting a downward trajectory from there.
